Pocket Opera II

After much research carried out in the more seedy bars and fast food joints in Bristol, Pocket Opera came to the conclusion that many of the most famous arias and ensembles in Mozart’s now-popular operas started in different homes.

This November, we reveal how we worked out that arias such as Porgi Amor, Vorrei dir and Non piu Andrai actually started off as part of an opera about Cherubino (who became famous, of course, in the Marriage of Figaro). Come and find out more at Arnos Vale in November.
